A splashy, fast-moving rescue game inspired by classic arcade fun.
Once upon a time in the Georgia mountain forests, where tall trees sway and waterwheels turn, there lived a busy Bear family. Mama Bear was brave, strong, and very determined. Every morning, she and her fluffy cubs climbed the tallest trees in the forest, searching for sweet, golden honey hidden among the branches. The cubs giggled and wobbled as they climbed, their paws sticky and their hearts full.
But today was a special day.
The cubs had decided they were ready for their first big swim in the creek.
There was just one problem -- there were so many cubs, and they were all eager to get down right now. Mama Bear did what any clever bear would do: she gently tossed her cubs down from the trees toward a big barrel of cool, refreshing water.
That is where you come in.
Mama Bear needs your help to safely catch every cub before they tumble onto the forest floor. Slide the barrel, keep your balance, and make sure every cub gets a splashy landing. Miss too many, and the forest fun comes to an end. Catch them all, and it will be a legendary creek day in the mountains.
Barrel Bears is a fast-paced arcade-style video game inspired by Atari's Kaboom. Mama Bear tosses her cubs, and you move a barrel filled with water to catch them. Your goal is to rescue as many cubs as possible. As the game continues, it speeds up, so stay sharp and ready to move.
To play on desktop, move your mouse left and right to slide the barrel back and forth across the screen. Press the "R" key on your keyboard to start or restart the game.
On mobile devices, slide your finger left and right on the screen to move the barrel, and tap the screen to start the game.
Watch Mama Bear closely — she doesn't always toss the cubs the same way. Stay near the center, but be ready to react quickly. As the pace increases, smooth and precise movement will help more than big swipes.
Mama Bear is counting on you. The cubs are fearless and a little bouncy. The water barrel is ready. Good luck, brave rescuer, and welcome to Barrel Bears.
